Santa's Village Take 3!

The kids can't get enough of Santa's Village!  We did our typical day and a half for the price of one day then our friends Nick and Elise had free passes that they wanted to use to take us all back for another day of fun...how do you say no to that???  So we packed up and headed out to ride some rides, splash in HoHo H2O and see Santa Claus himself.  They were thilled to try some rides that we hadn't tried previously because we didn't have an adult for each kid.  Brady and Aubrey even took a spin on the Polar Coaster!  They are going to have soooooo much fun at Disney!

Riding the Peppermint Twist...six times in a row!

Swimming lessons

My kids all LOVE the water so it is a no brainer that we would sign them up for swimming lessons this past summer.  Each lesson I planned on bringing my camera and each time I forgot it!  Thankfully my mom got some pictures a their last lesson so that we can document how far they have come since last year.  I truly feel that if we had lifeguards that worked with the toddlers to teach them the basics there would be so many more swimmers at an early age but when the lifeguards don't even bother getting into the pool much yet going near the kids in the "class" the opportunity is missed. :(  We intend to keep working with our kiddos throughout the year so hopefully they will be confident swimmers before we know it!

Typical lesson...kids in the pool with a few parents/caregivers while the paid lifeguards sit on the side fully dressed...tax payer's money well spent!

Mount Prospect

Our latest adventure was climbing Mount Prospect!  We did not realize that the gate closes at 5 pm and it was around 3pm when we got there so we ended up parking about half way up and hiking the rest of the way.  The kids love going on adventures, expecially on trails so this was so exciting for them!

On the way up they discovered a caterpillar!

Playing at the playground

Every time we go down Summer Street the kids spot the playground and tell us that is where Tammy brought them so last weekend when we had some time to kill we decided to bring them there to play and they had a ball!

They loved the long slide on the hill.  Aubrey made Ben go down with her but she had fun doing it!
