Quad Quotes of the Week

Brady was mad at the other kids about something and didn't want to talk to anyone so Ben told them to leave him alone.  Matthew said "He's my best friend and I am not giving up on him!"

We went to get Tonya flowers for her birthday and on the way Cameron said "I want to get Auntie some beautiful roses."  So when we got there I showed him the roses and he said "Nah, these are Auntie's favorite roses."  Nice assortment of many different types of flowers...none were roses.

Brady asked me if he could buy a new game for his Leap Pad.  I told him not right now.  He said "How about when I am five?"  I said sure and he started to walk away when I heard him mumble under his breath "I should have said FRIDAY!  Not when I am five, that is too long!"

I put up their chore charts and asked them each to name a goal they were working towards.  The boys all made pretty good goals and were excited to start earning their stars...Aubrey on the other hand told me her goal was to "only get two stars because I don't want to do chores and I already have an Ariel doll soooo".

Aubrey's Kingdom

Aubrey and Brady tend to fight...A LOT!  So I wasn't surprised to hear them bickering once more but I did get a good chuckle out of part of their conversation.

Brady:  "I can't wait until you realize you aren't a real princess!"

Aubrey: "I can't wait until you realize I am and you can't come my kingdom!"

Aubrey and Daddy had such a great time at the Father and Daughter dance last year that Aubrey has been asking when the next one is for quite some time.  It took us some searching but we found the perfect dress...finding the shoes was another challenge!  I can only imagine what proms will entail!

The Grand Prix

It was the 50th anniversary of the Kilkenny Cup so Lancaster put on a huge celebration complete with vintage snow machine races.  Matthew and Cameron were excited to go spend the day there with Daddy while Brady and Aubrey could have cared less so they got to hang out with Mommy for the day.

Ice Fishing

Ben has been waiting for the day to take the fab four out on the ice for one of his favorite activities...ice fishing!  I have been very nervous to allow this because of all the things that "could" happen out there on the ice.  They had a blast though and came home to tell me how they want to do it again.

Cam Cam the Garlic Bread Man!

This kid LOVES garlic bread...or maybe I should say loved garlic bread!  He was very insistent that he got a whole big piece with dinner the other night and he managed about half of it before wanting it wrapped up for morning.  He had some for breakfast then some more later in the day.  After his last serving of it he asked to throw it away because he didn't like garlic bread that much!

Disney on Ice!

When we went to the circus back in October they passed out coupons to Disney on Ice's Princesses and Heroes.  I knew it was must see!  Even as an adult I love to go to Disney on Ice and the kids enjoyed last year's show too.  Daddy was on call so Grammie and Auntie Kate took the trip with us for their first Disney on Ice experience.

Princess Jasmine and Aladdin did a scene and then sang "A Whole New World!"

Snow White and Prince Vaillant did "Some Day My Prince Will Come" then the Dwarfs did "Hi-Ho"!

Belle came out and did "Be our Guest" but sadly the Beast did not make an appearance!

Build A Bear

For Christmas the kids got Build A Bear gift cards from Bumpa so we made sure that they had some time to go make their own creation.  They had gone for their 2nd birthday and had fun then but I think they had even more fun this time!

Brady picked out a dog and named her Britney 10.  Aubrey picked out Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony and named her that.  Cameron, with some urging from his sister, picked out Rainbow Dash.  Matthew picked out a white horse and named him Prince Hugo.  They are pretty proud of their new pals!
