The kids are loving having a puppy. They each have spent countless hours sitting with her, playing with her and wanting to help take care of her. Brady told me tonight that he loves Callie more than all his brothers and sister. When I told him that wasn't very nice he informed me that Callie doesn't take his stuff...all in due time buddy!

Santa's Village with Bumpa!
Our season passes to Santa's definitely did not go to waste this year! I believe this was our 7th trip so far! This time we spent the day with Bumpa. They had a blast riding rides and playing. Matthew was a little ticked Brady was tall enough to ride solo when he was stuck riding with me. He even plead his case with one of the ride attendants..."We are ALL three! We're quads! It's not fair that I have to ride with mommy!"
My attempt to get a picture of the fab four...can't they ever just all look and smile???

Girls night in!
Ben and the boys headed for a night at the race track so Aubrey and I got a little girl time! First up was some baking, then playing hide and seek, then mani/pedis, finally movie and some snuggling! Love having one on one time! It is rare but definitely treasured.
4 batches of Blueberry Coffee Cake...yummy!
First the vanilla...
Then the milk...

Melted butter...
Cracking eggs like a pro!

Stir, stir, stir!

Mani/pedi in exchange for all her hard work...man that girl drives a hard bargain!

Go fly a kite...or 4!
The other day when we were walking around Walmart the kids saw kites and wanted them. At a clearance price of $0.75 they each walked out proud owners of new kites. I was a little nervous about how this was going to go because I never have flown a kite myself but Ben assured me that it was a piece of cake and it was! The kids had a ball and Cameron proved to be a champion kite flier! Big thanks to Auntie Sam and Uncle Chris for helping keep everyone untangled!
