Christmas with the Lamberts

Each year the kids have several days of Christmas as we celebrate individually with friends and different branches of our family tree.  They enjoy seeing everyone and of course exchanging gifts.  This year the Lamberts knew how much the kids enjoy playing dress up so they got them each a costume and they were a hit!

Something for our little friends...

After delivering all our goodies we came home and made some Candy Cane Playdough after seeing a fellow Mom of Multiples had tried it last year with great success!  You can check out the recipe here!  It was so easy and made the house smell amazing.  The kids loved that they had a little something to give their cousins and day care friends.


The morning of our day care party all of the kids and I made a huge batch of Magic Reindeer Food for everyone to take home to sprinkle out on the lawn on Christmas Eve.  Another easy and fun craft!  Aubrey wanted to make some for her dance friends too so we did!

Ho Ho Ho...

The kids and I spent the weekend baking then making some gift boxes of goodies to deliver to some family and friends.  They all love to help bake, especially to run the switches on the kitchen aid mixer, so they were thrilled that we had such a long list of things to make...lots of turns for everyone!  I even managed to take pictures along the way!

8 batches of cookies + 5 batches of candy + 3 batches of fudge = 1 disaster area called a kitchen!


Phew...that was a LOT of work but totally worth it if it brings a smile to our family and friends during the holidays!
