How to trap a Leprechaun...

St. Patrick's Day was coming and the kids all remembered seeing pictures of other people who tried to trap a leprechaun last year and they were determined to build a trap and catch one!  I love their creativity and ability to use 2 whole rolls of tape in a matter of minutes. 

They gave it their best shot but they couldn't out smart the leprechaun! 

He did leave them a trail of gold coins...

and some pretty awesome leprechaun decorations.

If you can't catch a leprechaun you might as well become one!

66 months!

New Hats!

The fab four were so excited when Tammy and Benny stopped by to visit and give them these awesome hats that Tammy made for them.

What a good brother...

When you don't have a sister sometimes a brother will do!  Aubrey is lucky to have some brothers who will do the craziest things to keep the princess happy! 

The things they say...

Cameron, while reading his homework book, said "Dad, why do they put an exclamation mark here?  It really isn't that exciting!"

It was time to get up for school so I went to wake the Sleeping Beauty...aka Aubrey...and she wasn't very happy about that!
Mommy: Time to get up Aubrey.
Aubrey: I don't want to.  I am tired. I want to stay in bed all day.
Mommy:  You have school today.
Aubrey: I can't wait until I am done college and I can stay in bed as long as I want.
Mommy: Uh...after college you need to get a job.
Aubrey: I'm going to be a Princesses and Princesses get to stay in bed all day.

Ice Castles 2015

Cameron had been asking for a trip to the Ice Castles for weeks and was soooo excited when we finally told him that we were bringing them!  We dressed up in our warmest fleece jammies and then headed out!  Once we got there we put on all our winter gear and were ready to see the sites.


While we waited in line to go in we got to see the side show.  They were amazed by the fire hula hooper!

Matthew loses a tooth!

Matthew has been waiting for the day when his loose tooth would be loose enough to fall out.  Finally it was!  He was so scared to pull it because he thought it would hurt. Then he was nervous that he was going to bleed but after all was said and done he was thrilled to get his dollar and tooth fairy coin from the Tooth Fairy!
