Ride 'em Cowboy!

The quaddlers love to play outside! Every morning they ask to go outside 100x before we finally get out there. They all have their favorite things to play on outside. Cameron loves to play in the Cozy Coupe and drive it all around the yard, Matthew likes to play on the slide..."I slide?", Aubrey loves to play in the little house, and Brady takes over the toddler swing as it is always "Brady turn"

One toy they all love is the bouncing horse that Ben picked up at the dump several years ago because he thought the day care kids would love it. After cleaning it up and putting it out on the deck it has provided a lot of fun for the kids for years and now our kids are loving riding their horse and making horse noises as they do it!

Redneck Swimming Pool

What do you do when it is hot out and you don't have a kiddie pool? Wait for a night of heavy rain to fill up the jumpolene, put the kids in their bathing suits and let them play in it!

Day at the lake!

We spent the 4th of July at Maidstone Lake with the Styles family and the kids got to try out their new Puddle Jumpers in the Lake. The air was hot and the water was warm so it made for a perfect day at the lake. The kids got to go out for their first boat ride and even "drove" the boat. It was a great time had by all!

First Boat Ride!

A wedding and a carnival

Saturday we took the quaddlers to our friend Jennie's wedding reception and were pleasantly surprised by their good behavior. Not that they aren't well behaved most of the time but when they are around a bunch of people they don't know they typically are clingy and whiny and that was not the case. As a reward we took them to the carnival after we left the reception!

Aubrey showed the boys up by braving out all the rides when the boys all cried and had to get the ride stopped so they could get off. Aubrey was very proud of herself for being such a big girl and so were we! Finally when we were out of tickets and it was time to leave the boys decided that they liked rides and wanted to ride them. Hopefully when the fair comes to town they will decide to be brave boys or their sister will be having all the fun!
