Quick Trip to Boston!

On our way to Boston to visit Bumpa in the hospital we stopped off in Reading for some Richardson's Ice Cream, a water fireworks show and to check out the jelly bean displays!  I think the highlight was riding the escalator!

A quick stop at Chuck E Cheese to burn off some of that energy!  If I could bottle it, we would be millionaires!

Visit at the NICU!

Every time we take the trip to Boston we try to stop in at the NICU for a quick visit.  This time we were lucky enough to have two of our favorite nurses who were also the kid's primaries there.  We had a great chat with the NICU coordinator about some changes they are making and we are very jealous that they weren't done 5 years ago!

They're celebrities!  Our frame and updated pictures are hanging up in the hallway.

Catching up with Doreen on the events of the past 4.5 years!

Make your own pizza day!

The kids have been very interested in helping prepare meals lately so we decided on make your own pizzas as a fun way to help out in the kitchen.  They loved making them!

The Leprechaun came!

Sometime after we went to sleep the Leprechaun came and sprinkled the house in green.  They had to follow the path of green candies into the kitchen to find this...

He even left cupcakes to share with the day care!

Matthew was pretty excited and was hoping to get to eat the candy RIGHT NOW!

Brady was hoping for something blue!

Cameron was NOT impressed, even though everything was in his favorite color.

Aubrey was pretty excited to see it all!

54 months!

After today they will be closer to 5 than to 4...it's a sad day in the Hickey house!

Cam the Con Man

If nothing else the boy is smart!  He comes up with an idea then convinces everyone else to go along with it or even try it first.  Tonight Ben went up to see how the kids were doing getting their room cleaned and found they had put all their blankets on the floor between their beds.  He told them to put them back and finish cleaning and then Aubrey came down to tell us how Cameron told Matthew and Brady to jump off the left side of her bunk bed...of course she is the top bunk!  Ben went up with Aubrey to see where the "left side" was and sure enough it was right over the rail on the left side of her top bunk!

Ben asked them if they realized that they could break their leg or arm or anything else and Matthew responded "Cam told us to!" Brady agreed to that and Cameron in his regular Cameron fashion threw his arms in the air and said "I don't know...It wasn't my idea!  They did it first! "  Yeah right buddy!
