Apple Picking 2014!

We made our annual trip to Windy Ridge for some apple picking and fun.  The race was on to find the biggest apple, to see who could pick the most and who could use the apple picker to get the most apples from the top of the tree! Always a competition in our house...some friendly, some not so much!

Silly kids!  They LOVE these props!

Tractor ride!  Matthew and Brady were good sports and rode together after rude people cut them in line and there were no spots left.

Time to map out the adventure!

Feeding time at the petting zoo!

Brotherly love!

Time to pick some apples!

The best part...taste testing.  I think Aubrey tried an apple from each row. Had to be sure which one was the best.

Apple pies, apple sauce, apple slices...it's going to be a YUMMY fall!!!!

First Motorcycle Ride!

The fab four have been begging for a ride on Daddy's bike so we finally had a day with nothing to do and decided it was the perfect time to try it out.  Aubrey was the first one to hop right on!  She loved it and wanted to go again!

Next up was Cameron!  In true Cameron fashion he let us know it was "ok, not too fun."  The boy can never just like something...or let us know he does anyway!

Brady was hesitant to get on when his turn came.  He questioned the safety and how far they were going.  In the end he ended up having a blast!

Last but not least, Matthew was up!  Being the dare devil he is he got off and told me he can't wait to be big and have a motorcycle of his own.

Silly straws!

The first gift they had to check out when they got home from their party was the straw glasses.  They loved them and we got a huge laugh at how silly they all looked!

Coloring!

The biggest pass time in our house is COLORING!  They love it...they love to color, draw then color and sometimes just write letters but they put their coloring kits to good use.  They were sooooo thrilled to get so many different ones at their party!

Every year I totally stress trying to make their birthday party "perfect".  This year I asked them what they wanted and to my surprise all they really cared to have was a pinata and balloons.  What???  No crazy home made stuff, no time consuming party favors?  OK!  They got exactly what they asked for and I think it was the best party yet!

Mini cakes for the kiddos, cupcakes for our guests!

Present time!

Happy birthday to you!

Yum!!!!

Pinata time!

Thank you everyone who came!  We loved spending the afternoon with you all!

We've been FLOCKED!

Nine years ago this summer there was so much uncertainty, would Ben make it through his treatments?  Would I be able to carry all four babi...
