Thanksgiving 2014

Everyday we are thankful for each other...even on days where our patience are tried and it seems like no one can get along at the end of the day we are thankful to be a family.

Fun at Burger King

Why is it that when I ask them ever so nicely to just take a picture for me they refuse but when they want pictures I must comply immediately???  I was able to snap a few pictures of them playing at Burger King before the camera battery died.  Then they were mad because I couldn't take more!

First night at camp

The fab four and Daddy have been helping Papa build a camp and have been itching to spend the night there even though it wasn't done yet!  So we packed up all our air mattresses, blankets and pillows and went up for the night.  The kids had a blast just hanging out.  A little leap pad time before bed and everyone slept through the whole night!  What a miracle that was!

First snow..

There is something exciting about the first snow of the season.  The kids were pretty bummed they had to go to school when they would rather be playing out in the snow.  I came to realize getting 4 kids dressed in all their snow gear and out to the bus by 7 makes me want to move to a warmer climate!

Cheese!!!!  So happy to see snow!

Dear Santa,

The kids and I sat down to write their letters to Santa and I was very impressed at how they tried to spell the words when we would sound them out.  I didn't give them any help in spelling and I can even understand everything they wrote!  Hopefully Santa can too!

School Pictures 2014

I was a little nervous about how school pictures would turn out considering I haven't seen many great ones and Aubrey went to school crying because she didn't want to wear the dress I had put out for her and we didn't have time to change.  When they came back I was thrilled to see how awesome they looked!  They definitely look like big kids now!

Pumpkin Carving 2014!

Every year there is something going on that prevents us from attending Tabby's Pumpkin Carving Party so when we found out it was on a weekend that we had nothing planned at that point we made sure that we didn't plan anything so we were able to go and join in the festivities. 

 This year was fun because the fab four are finally old enough to do most of it themselves...even if they really didn't want to get their hands all slimy.  They all had their own idea of what kind of face they wanted to carve and we drew them on before we started.  They did a great job and were very proud of their finished product.
