Photo Friday!

All looking and smiling...a small miracle right there folks!

My little Cam Man...I have never met a child so giving.  He is the first to give something up, pass up a turn,
or reach out to one of his siblings just to make them happy.  He has the most caring soul!

Little Miss Aubrey....whether she is being sweet or sassy, bossy or nice there is one thing she always is
A Beautiful Little Princess!

My little Matt...always the clown of the group but easily embarrassed at the same time.
He can make me smile even when I am in the worst of moods!

My little B-Man...this boy is a heck of a worker!  If anything needs to be done he is always there
offering to help me and uses his super strength to get the job done!

Sibling shots!

Matthew was not very impressed about having to share the camera!

Hamming it up with some of their besties!

I took full advantage of the kids being cooperative and snapped several pictures of them! Who knows when I will get them to cooperate like this again!

Memorial Day Parade...through a child's eye

The kids have a new obsession with taking pictures with my camera.  When we went to the parade this Memorial Day they all wanted to be the photographer and here's just a couple of what they got!

The kiddos did grant me one picture with my camera...how generous of them!

Mr. Responsible

A couple weeks ago Cameron and Brady broke the shade in the toy room.  I told them that they were going to have to come up with the money to buy a new one with their allowance.  Brady asked if they did extra chores could they get extra money to pay it off quickly.  I told him that sounded like a great idea and told Cameron about it...Cameron being Cameron is too lazy to think about it.  He is a con artist who always is trying to get out of his chores by getting someone else to "help" him!

For the past couple weeks we have been working at the snack bar in town during the baseball and softball games.  While the other three spend the entire time we are there at the park Brady has been spending most of his time helping me.  He passes out drinks to those who order them, sweeps the floor, helps stock the fridge, and other stuff he can do.

Just the other day I told him he could go play with the others, that he didn't need to help me if he didn't want to and he looked at me and asked me how many more times he had to work there to pay for the shade.  I was shocked that he thought about that.  I never mentioned that he had to work in there to help pay for it but he thought of it all by himself!  It made me very proud to realize that he felt bad about doing a bad deed and was trying to make it right.

Play date with Peyton

Peyton and Marissa were up from Maryland so we couldn't let an opportunity for a play date at the park and swimming pass us by!  Matthew was impressed with Peyton jumping in the pool and swimming so he had to try it too.  I don't think it will be long before he is swimming unassisted!

Mr. B hanging out on the playground!

Cam showing me he can get up and down all the different climbing structures.

Aubrey deciding if she is going to brave the slide without someone catching her.

Matt making sure I see how well he can climb like a big boy

The five of them getting crazy on the merry-go-round!

Ready to swim!

Acting silly!

Looking good little lady!

Matthew must be half fish!

Love the googles!

Brady before he attacked me with cups filled with water!

We had a great afternoon with them and wish we were able to have playdates more often...
if only 600+ miles didn't separate us!

44 months...

Seriously...these little people have been in my life for 44 months?  It seems like just yesterday they were hanging out in the NICU waiting to grow strong enough to come home.  The years have gone by in the blink of an eye and they are become such big kids.  We are looking forward to a fun filled summer with these kiddos.

March of Dimes Walk 2013

Every year since the quads were born I have wanted to make it to Boston to walk in the March of Dimes walk but something always prevented it from happening.  This year I had a special reason to make sure that our whole family participated in this event at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center...two of my dear friends each suffered the loss of their twins, a set of boys and a set of girls, this past fall.  Because of this a bond between them was made and the March of Dimes team "Four-Ever Remembered" was born!  They rallied a team of nearly 40 people to help in their efforts to raise awareness for all and funds for the March of Dimes.  I am amazed that prior to any donations turned in at registration our team total was $6,600!  A huge thanks goes out to all those who supported the cause!

"How very softly you tiptoed into our world, almost silently, only a moment you stayed. But what an imprint you footsteps have left upon our hearts". -- Dorothy Ferguson

Even the quads participated in the walk and wore a team shirt!

Personalized on the front for my little miracle preemies who provide me with hope every day that improvements in technology and knowledge will bring a brighter future to those born too soon.

Perfect day for a walk!

Walking in honor of these beautiful mommas and their beautiful angels born too soon.

We've been FLOCKED!

Nine years ago this summer there was so much uncertainty, would Ben make it through his treatments?  Would I be able to carry all four babi...
