4 Wheeling

We bought the quaddlers Power Wheel four wheelers for their first birthday and they have ridden them around the house quite a bit but they finally got to get them out of the open road field and had a blast! Once they got sick of riding and pushing them around they played ball in the field and then ran off to the play ground for some more fun. They love the days we are able to play outside or take walks and I love that they are at the age where we can do all these fun things with them.

Doggies and Foxes and Llamas OH MY!

The boys have never gotten attached to lovies like Aubrey has with her "snuggie". She has loved that thing since she was a newborn and still sleeps with it each nap and bedtime and she has a matching one in the car for car rides. The boys will sleep with anything or nothing at all...until recently!

Each of the boys picked out a stuffed animal from their toy box of stuffed animals and decided to sleep with it. In fact Brady has gotten so attached to his "dog-a" that he has to take the doggie down stairs with him in the morning to snuggle on the couch for a bit before giving it up.

The newest activity that they love to do with their lovies is have Ben and I give kisses to them when we kiss everyone good night! It cracks me up to watch Cameron smack his lips together while holding his fox up for me to kiss. Matthew yells "llama, llama!" like don't forget to kiss it. Aubrey looks at you like "kiss my snuggie and die!"

Trip to Church

Ben's sister and brother-in-law had their little boy Aidan baptized on Easter Sunday so we thought we would take a chance and bring the four little monkey's to church for the mass and then the baptism. I have to say it wasn't our smartest idea ever that is for sure. From the pictures you can see how well they behaved!

Happy Easter!

Easter was so fun this year with toddlers! I loved seeing the expressions on their faces as they searched for eggs. Cameron was an egg finding machine! He loved to find them and acted so surprised with each one he found. Brady found the fewest eggs because he had to make sure he opened his egg and ate the entire content of it! Luckily most of the eggs were stuffed with Goldfish, Mini Ritz with cheese, Mini Ritz with Peanut Butter, and Teddy Grahams because that boy would have been bouncing off the walls had they been all filled with sweets! We got the little monkey much needed spring jackets, sandals, bathing suits and sunglasses.

They definitely didn't need any sweets from us or the Easter Bunny because they ended up with buckets full of candy from friends and family as well as gifts from all of them. They received some new outfits, jammies, more bathing suits and Easter doggies. Of course their favorite gifts were the 16 tubes and 4 big eggs full of "nemie nems" aka M&M's!

We all went to church for the first time since they were around 6 months old. That was interesting to say the least but we will save that for another post. After we had lunch at Grammie and Grandpa Brann's before coming home for a nap then out to play in the gorgeous weather we were blessed with today!

Duck, Duck, GOOSE!

or "dooose" as they say. The quaddlers are loving this game right now. I don't know if it is because they can say these words, love to chase one another or because they want an excuse to hit one another. My money is on the hitting! They know they can do it without getting into trouble...LOL!

All the boys are running now and I think Brady thinks that if he runs with his arms stretched out behind him it makes him run faster. He makes me laugh. Little Miss Aubrey tries to keep up with them but she is still pretty stiff in the knees and ends up toppling over sometimes.

I am pretty sure the foursome must have gotten some vampire in them from all the Twilight books I read when I was first pregnant with them. They bit all the time. They have learned that when they say "bite" they get an immediate reaction from me so I have learned they sometimes lie. Now I inspect for bite marks before punishing the accused with a time out.

With the vampire in them the boys are obviously able to leap from one place to the next with no problems. I came into the living room to find Matthew standing in the mini crib looking out the window at cars. I asked him how he got there and he so nicely showed me as he climbed over the top onto the arm of the couch, slid down onto the couch and then to the floor. I can't wait until the other boys witness Matthew doing it and decide to join in on the fun. Devilish Little Quaddlers!

Terrible Two's Already???

The quaddlers have hit 19 months but I am beginning to think that they are starting the terrible two's already! They bite each other, fight over every thing, climb to get things they are not supposed to, fight me every time I try to put them in their car seats and say "NO!" all.the.time! Somedays I wonder if we have little vampires or little toddlers!

I hope that this new phase is fairly short and doesn't last all the way to two and beyond! If not I think that several more grey hairs will be finding the way to the top of my head.

Loving the Outdoors!

Spring weather has been giving the quads a taste of playing outdoors and they are loving every single moment they are able to play out. They start asking first thing in the morning about going out and playing! They had the opportuntity to roam around when we were at Grammie and Grandpa Amadon's this weekend. I wish we had the room for they to play like that here!
